Music Millennium has been Portland’s record store since 1969. They turn 50 on March 15th and will be celebrating with an evening of music from some of Oregon best bands. The show is also a benefit for the Oregon Music Hall of Fame.

The Crazy 8s were formed in Corvallis in the 80’s. Their ska/rock approach to music landed them fans all across the country and an appearance on Star Search. They played along side the Clash, The Beach Boys, Sonic Youth, Violent Femmes and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. After a hiatus, the Crazy 8s have returned to being an active band again. This past year they released several vinyl releases as well as playing live agin around the Northwest. They were inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame in the inaugural class of 2007.

Jon Koonce and the Lost Cause is Jon Koonce’s lastest musical endeavor. A staple on the Oregon music front since the the 70’s, Jon found success in the early 80’s with his band Johnny & the Distractions, signing to A&M Records and touring around the country opening for bands like Tom Petty, Asia and the J. Geils Band. After the demise of the Distractions, he has never sloweddown, releasing countless solo and band projects as well as being a permanent fixture pn the live music scene. His latest project with the Lost Cause is a 9 piece band including horns and backup singers and packs a punch. They were inducted into the Oregon Music
Hall of Fame in the inaugural class of 2007.

The Dandy Warhols have been one of the most successful bands to come out of the state Oregon. 2019 marks their 25th Anniversary and they will touring all across the globe. After developing a large following in Portland and a cult following around the world with their Tim Kerr Records release “Dandys Rule OK” in 1995, the band was signed to Capitol Records. Their debut Capitol release found 3 singles in the top 40 in the UK and great success in the US. 2019 marks their 10th album, “Why You So Crazy”. The band has retained the same line up for 21 years, led by Courtney Taylor-Taylor (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards, percussion), Zia McCabe (vocals, keyboards, bass, percussion), Peter Holstrom (vocals, guitar, keyboards, bass) and Brent DeBoer(vocals, drums, bass, guitar). The band was inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame in 2014.
